Blackhawk All-Stars win football game

Flatten named Coach of the Year

Three Blackhawk graduated senior football players and their head coach recently performed in the SD All-Star Football Game held in the DakotaDome in Vermillion on Saturday, July 9.
Chase VonEye of Wessington Springs and Brady Tiede and Garrett Larson of Woonsocket played on the Blue Team, which won their game, 33-14. Blackhawks Head Coach Jason Kolousek was chosen to help coach the Blue Team.
At the All-Stars game, Blackhawks Assistant Coach Corey Flatten was honored as the 2016 South Dakota High School Football Coaches Association 9AA Assistant Coach of the Year.
