The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket boys tied for fifth place with 58 total points and Rex Schlicht finished with two more first place medals in the April 14 De Smet Booster Club Relays.
Wyatt Feistner also brought home a first place medal as he tied Nic Paulson of Wessington Springs with a Long Jump of 18’ 9”.
The SCW boys tied Castlewood for fifth place with 58 total points.
Individually, Rex Schlicht took first in the 800M with a time of 2:11.51 and first in the 1600M run with a time of 4:57.80.
The rest of the boys results are as follows: 3200M – Sawyer Senska, 6th; 3200M Relay, 2nd; Medley Relay – 5th; High Jump – Feistner, 7th; Triple Jump – Trey Weber, 6th; 300 Hurdles – Schlicht, 2nd.
The girls team finished in 13th place with a total of 15 points.
The girls results are as follows: 1600M – Sydney Zeller, 3rd; Long Jump – Sydney Zeller, 5th; 300 Hurdles – Kayla Olson, 4th.

Six SC/W boys competed in the Corn Palace Relays last Saturday and came away with two second and two third place finishes.
Results are as follows: open 100M –  Logun Feistner, 17th; open 800M – Rex Schlicht, 3rd, 2:06.18;  Class B Long Jump – Wyatt Feistner, 5th, 19’ 3”; Class B 400M Relay –  2nd, 47.06 (R. Schlicht, Feistner, Trey Weber, L. Feistner); Class B 800M Relay – 2nd, 140.33 (L. Feistner, Spens Schlicht, Weber, W. Feistner);  Class B 3200M Relay – 3rd, 8:58.38 (Weber, S. Schlicht, Jared Goldammer, R. Schlicht).

The Blackhawk track teams participated in the Sunshine Bible Academy track meet on April 12.
Myah Selland and Rex Schlicht both qualified for the State Track Meet in the high jump and 300 hurdles, respectively. Rex Schlicht also brought home three first place finishes.
The girls team finished 11th with 19 total points and the boys finished fourth with 60 points.
