The Blackhawk track teams participated in the Sunshine Bible Academy track meet on April 12.
Myah Selland and Rex Schlicht both qualified for the State Track Meet in the high jump and 300 hurdles, respectively. Rex Schlicht also brought home three first place finishes.
The girls team finished 11th with 19 total points and the boys finished fourth with 60 points.
Results are as follows:
Girls: High Jump – Myah Selland, 2nd, (state qualifying jump, 4’10”); Triple Jump: Kayla Olson, 6th, (new SC/W record 28’06.75”); Medley Relay – 6th, (Brick, Petersen, Maddie Vermeulen, Olson); 800M Relay: 7th, (Brick, Petersen, Vermeulen, Olson); 400M Relay: 6th, (Brick, Petersen, Vermeulen, Olson).
Boys: Triple Jump – Trey Weber, 3rd, Koby Larson, 6th; 3200M Relay – 3rd (Rex Schlicht, Logun Feistner, Weber, Spens Schlicht); 100M – L. Feistner, 6th, (new SC/W record, 11.31); 1600M – R. Schlicht, 1st; 400M Relay – 3rd, (S. Schlicht, Weber, Larson, L. Feistner); 300M Hurdles – R. Schlicht, 1st, (state qualifying, SC/W record, 41.4); Medley Relay – 3rd, (L. Feistner, Larson, S. Schlicht, Weber), 800M – R. Schlicht, 1st.
