The 281 Tournament top-seed easily took a first round win over Iroquois, 56-9, Friday night in Wolsey.
Tayla Weber was the leading scorer for the Hawks with 13 points. Myah Selland added on nine points and four rebounds. Kayla Olson added up five boards and five assists, while Maddie Vermeulen and Bailey Moody each grabbed four steals.
Iroquois shot just three-of-30 from the field.
The Blackhawks shot 50 percent on 44 attempts from the field.
Iroquois (2-8) moves into the second day of 281 action, as they meet Wessington Springs Monday afternoon in Huron.
The Lady Blackhawks move into the semifinal round, Monday, Jan. 18 where they will meet Wolsey-Wessington at 6:30 p.m. in the Huron Arena.
