Despite three Blackhawks scoring double figures, including a double-double by Brady Tiede, SCW fell to James Valley Christian, 65-71, Thursday night in Huron.
Brady Tiede had game-high 27 points and 13 rebounds, while Trevor Olson added on 12 points. Tucker Kingsbury was the third Hawk to make double figures with 10 points. Josh Feiner also scored nine.
JVC was led by Jayden Waldner with 22 points, while Tim Wager added 19. Eric Hasart had 12.
The Blackhawks shot 43 percent from the field and 27 from three-point territory.
The Vikings shot 54 percent from the field and and 23 percent from beyond the arc.
JVC improved to 7-2, while SCW fell to 6-1.
