The Blackhawks boys and girls track teams competed at the Region Track Meet last Thursday in DeSmet. The boys team brought home second place and four first place medals, while the girls came in eighth.
Six Blackhawk boys will be attending the State Track Meet next weekend. Rex Schlicht earned a State berth in four events: 800M, 1600M, 300M Hurdles and 3200M Relay. Trey Weber, Spens Schlicht and Jared Goldammer will attend State as the other three members of the 3200M Relay team. Weber also qualified in the 800M event.
Logun Feistner qualified for State in the 100M and the 200M dashes, while Wyatt Feistner will be making the trip to compete in the Long Jump.
