The WWTS (Walking With The Savior) youth group at Artesian First Lutheran recently took God’s Global Barnyard barn banks home to collect money to purchase animals and other items for people in underdeveloped countries. In the picture, the youth are counting the money that they collected. They also used funds from Penny Power monies that had been collected at church.

Blackhawk’s Coach Rod Web-er held his annual Roundball Camp on Thursday, May 25, for fifth through eighth graders in the Woonsocket gym.

The Letcher Legion Auxiliary yearly puts a fern leaf with poppies on each cross at the Veterans’ Plot in the town cemetery. Auxiliary President Sandi Ruml this year had special helpers putting the leaves on, granddaughters, Miley and Kaylee Adams, and friends, Tori Hoffman and Kadence Fridley. The girls were a big help and they finished decorating all 290 crosses in a half hour. The girls will received an ice cream treat soon.
