The Artesian American Legion Auxiliary would like to recognize Catherine Bechen as their 2017 Girls Stater. She is a junior at Sanborn Central High School and is very active in her school, 4-H, church, family farm and as a junior Auxiliary member.
Catherine will be attending Girls State at the University of South Dakota campus in Vermilion May 29-June 3.
She is the daughter of John and Gayle Bechen of Letcher.
