Burglaries attempted at Woonsocket businesses

The Dakota Roadhouse restaurant and Skeeters bar and grill in Woonsocket were the scenes of attempted robberies early Tuesday morning, Jan. 9.
At 12:45 a.m., alarms sounded at the bar after an attempt to gain entrance by the perpetrators was abandoned, due to the alarms and extra door security. They did gain access into the Roadhouse, where property was vandalized, but nothing was stolen.
Two suspects were apprehended and are in custody in Beadle County Jail. They are Trisha Young, 24, of Huron, and Landin Sween, 23, of Iroquois. They were driving an unlicensed Silver Gran Prix that was seen in the rear parking lot of the Roadhouse.
The incidents are being investigated by the Sanborn County Sheriff’s Office.
