Sunday evening, the Letcher American Legion and Auxiliary hosted its annual Fireman’s Appreciation supper, with around 50 people in attendance.
A good variety of hot dishes, salads and deserts were provided by the Auxiliary for supper. Karen Hoffman was in charge of the program, with poems, jokes and games. The firemen were divided into two teams and played several challenge games, and then their spouses played a Family Feud challange.
Shana Jensen was selected as Letcher’s Fireman of the Year.
