The second quarter and first semester officially ended on Dec. 21. The following Sanborn Central Middle School students received nominations for Student of the Quarter:  Ellie Evans, Brighten Hitchcock, Harley Kneen, Tryce Slykhuis, Lucy Nicholson, Destiny Moe, Casady Dean, Ayla Moe, Cassidy Slykhuis, Sidney Salas, Mason Moody, Alexis Kelly, Michael Morgan and Lily Overson.
“Star” Student of the second quarter honors were given to Ellie Evans, Destiny Moe and Alexis Kelly.
