Four Sanborn Central students have gained recognition for their work in the SD Bankers Foundation Business Plan Competition. For the competition, students worked very hard on personalized business plans, with realistic business projections. All schools in South Dakota are invited to participate in this business plan competition.
Aaron Stevens and Quentin Schmidt’s business plan, “Aaron’s Auto Detail,” consisted of a mobile car detailing business. For placing in the Top 10, they received $100 cash prize.
Sarah Morgan and Weston Baysinger have made it to the finals in this competition for their business plan, “Critter Catchers,” which is an Animal Control business. This business plan has gotten them to the finals in Pierre on Feb. 8 for the competition.
Additional cash and prizes will be awarded to these students after they participate in the final competition.
