The Town ‘N Kountry Kids Blue Group spent a morning at the Letcher Community Center sewing for the “Blanket Buddies” community service project.
They practiced designing a patchwork baby quilt, sewing quarter inch seams, and matching corners. One quilt top was completed.
The club will be holding more sewing days to create more blankets and will distribute the blankets to healthcare facilities in the area.
