Douglas D. Pullman, 67, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, at the Prairie View Healthcare Community in Woonsocket.

The visitation and memorial service were held on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron with military honors by the Huron Veteran’s Council. Burial will be at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis at a later date.

Douglas Dale Pullman was born on May 8, 1951 in Huron to Ruben and Darlene (Kleindl) Pullman. He grew up in Huron and attended Huron schools. He was in the Army and served during the Vietnam War where he received his GED. Doug worked construction and was a beekeeper for Jim Griffith.

Doug is survived by his parents, Ruben and Darlene Pullman, of Huron; his children, Markus (Cara Davies) Pullman, of Watertown and Lisa Hoffman, of De Smet; seven grandchildren; brother, Wayne Pullman, of Huron; sisters, Carol Tschetter and Jean (Gary Heath) Pullman, of Huron, and May (Tom) McMillan, of Garden City; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and aunts and uncles.
