Last week, Madi Moody traveled to Rock Springs, Wyo., for this year’s National High School Finals Rodeo. She qualified to represent South Dakota and competed in the pole bending event.
She ran a 26.2 second run in her first round and a 26.4 second run in the second round. Both times were a little high due to tipped poles. While there, she also took part in the National Volleyball Tournament, the Special Needs Rodeo, and she was a voting delegate.
Although the end result wasn’t what she had hoped for, she had a great time and wonderful experience.
