Rebecca “Becca” Lee Miller, 38, passed away on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018. 

Services will be held Friday, Aug. 17, at the Viborg Funeral Home in Viborg.  Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., with the funeral service to follow.

Becca was born on Nov. 12, 1979, to Brenda (Olesen) and Mark Miller, at Sacred Heart Hospital, in Yankton. She spent her childhood between Viborg, and Mitchell, where she attended school.  During her school years, she enjoyed playing softball and volleyball, and spending time with friends and family.  She was known for her infectious laughter, outgoing personality, and ability to always make people laugh. Becca was also admired as a leader, with a take-charge attitude, and a persistent strength throughout her life.  

Becca graduated in May, of 1998, from Viborg High School. It was there she formed a friendship and love for her future husband, Erik Fredricks. Becca and Erik were blessed with the birth of their son, Adrian Xavier Fredricks, on Nov. 6, 1999. They lived and worked in the Sioux Falls area, and were married in the spring of 2001. After their divorce, Becca continued to live and work in the Sioux Falls area, including various management positions.

Becca welcomed her second greatest love, Dexton Joseph Miller, into the world, on Aug. 2, 2009.  Becca’s most joy-filled moments were those spent with her beloved sons.

Becca will continue to be loved and cherished by countless family members, friends, acquaintances, co-workers, and strangers whose path she crossed and shared a smile or laugh.  

Becca is survived by her two sons Dexton Miller, and Adrian Fredricks (Mitchell), mother Brenda Olesen (Dan Hauser; Mitchell), father Mark Miller (Viborg), siblings Randal Miller (Jenny; Viborg), Rachael (Jon Anderson; Woonsocket), Jess (John Mulhair; Sioux Falls), Chelsea Suhr (Mitchell), Reece Miller (Centerville), nieces, nephews, grandparents Barb and Sonny Miller (Viborg), grandmother Phyllis Olesen (Yankton), and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, a memorial fund for Adrian and Dexton has been established at First National Bank, in Mitchell.
