Trinity Boschee goes in for the steal during the junior varsity game on Saturday afternoon in Woonsocket.

On Saturday, Dec. 8, the Blackhawks boys’ and girls’ basketball teams both played their first game of the season in Woonsocket against Sunshine Bible Academy. It was a doubleheader, and the boys varsity played first, followed by the girls varsity. The day started with a junior varsity girls game and then went right into the boys’ varsity game because SBA doesn’t have enough boys for a JV team. The Blackhawks won all three games of the day.
