SC/W FFA attended its last area Career Development Event (CDE) of the year hosted by Groton FFA and Alumni. The Chapter had a successful day at the event, taking home a first place plaque in Agronomy, and second place plaques in Agricultural Mechanics, Farm Business Management, and Meats. The Chapter tied for third in the sweepstakes, which is based off of overall performance among all the CDEs.

After a successful CDE season, the Chapter now will attend the South Dakota FFA State Convention in Brookings on April 15-17. The winning teams at State Convention will advance to participate at National Convention in October.
