On Sunday, May 26, the Owls amateur baseball team hosted the Dimock/Emery amateur team in Wessington Springs. It was a beautiful night for a game, and it was a good game to watch. The Owls struggled with pitching for a short time, so Dimock/Emery had a couple of good scoring innings. The Owls started to gain some ground on them, but couldn’t quite get to the mark they needed to. After nine full innings, the final score was Owls 7, Dimock/Emery 10.
The Owls’ next scheduled games are Thursday, May 30, in Colome at 8 p.m. and Sunday, June 2, in Hayes against 4-Corners at 4 p.m. Their next home game is Friday, June 7, at 8 p.m. against Miller in Wessington Springs.
