Ron Brakke and his wife, Becky, wanted to honor Ron’s mother and previous lead cook of Forestburg school, Clara Brakke, by making possible a gift to the cafeteria at Sanborn Central. After consulting with Laura Conrad, who manages the school cafeteria, and other kitchen staff, it was determined that a new steam table was at the top of the wish list. Thus, a gift from the Brakke family helped make a new steam table a reality and is now in use.
