On Friday, Nov. 22, Cameron Edwards was awarded the prize of earning first place in the local Patriot’s Pen Essay Contest which was conducted by the VFW in Mitchell. Cami is shown here receiving her award from a representative of the Mitchell VFW, Hugh Holmes of Mitchell. Edwards’ essay will now advance to the district level of competition.
