Although the junction of Highways 34 and 37 has been upgraded with four-way stop signs and rumble strips to warn drivers of an upcoming stop, the students of Woonsocket High School have ideas of more that could be done to the same junction to make it even safer for drivers of all ages. So, all the students in grades 7-12, approximately 150 in all, and teachers, a few community members and Superintendent Rod Weber all traveled to Pierre to continue to plead their case and present their information about the changes at the “three-mile corner.”
