The Blackhawks traveled to Emery for a doubleheader with the girls on Tuesday, Jan. 6. Both the junior varsity and the varsity boys struggled to find a system that worked and brought home losses. The JV boys had a final score of SCW 24, Bridgewater-Emery 44.
The varsity boys worked hard but couldn’t finish for the win and ended with a final score of SCW 34, Bridgewater-Emery 48.
The junior varsity boys had a better game against the Howard boys when they hosted them on Thursday, Jan. 8, at Sanborn Central. The final score for the JV game was SCW 24, Howard 36.
The varsity boys started their game against Howard with power but lost steam as the night went on and ended the game with a score of SCW 30, Howard 60.
The Blackhawks faced the Kimball/White Lake WiLdKats on Tuesday, Jan. 11, in Kimball and then they have their first round of the 281 Conference Tournament in Wolsey at 1 p.m. against the Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots on Saturday, Jan. 15. The rest of the tournament continues into next week.
