Darin Michael Amick, of rural Letcher, was arraigned in Third Judicial Circuit Court on Tuesday, Aug. 29, on one count of grand theft, a Class 4 felony.
Court documents state that between Oct. 14, 2014, and Sept. 14, 2015, Amick did take or exercise control over property of the Letcher Fire Department, with a value of more than $5,000 but less than or equal to $100,000, with the intent to deprive the Department of the property.
Amick pled guilty to the charge and will be sentenced at a later date.
