Dustin Dell Feistner, of Woonsocket, was sentenced on Tuesday, Aug. 29 for aggravated assault in Third Judicial Circuit Court by Judge Jon R. Erickson.
Feistner was charged following an altercation in his father’s home in April of 2016 at Woonsocket, when he assaulted his father, Wayne Feistner, with a knife.
Feistner was arraigned on July 25, when he pled guilty to the charge.
He was fined $1,000 and sentenced to two years in the state penitentiary, which was suspended upon the conditions that he serve a two-year term of probation, pay all court and attorney fees, not use alcohol, nor purchase, possess, use or distribute any illegal drugs or substances, and participate in a drug/alcohol abuse and anger management program.
Aggravated assault is a Class 3 felony.
