The Town ‘N Kountry Kids Red Crew 4-H Club met on Sept. 18, at the Woonsocket School commons.
The meeting was called to order by acting President Evan Ohlrogge. The flag pledge was led by Kaitlyn Swenson and the 4-H pledge was led by Brooklyn Swenson. Roll call was led by Hope Baysinger with the question, “What was your favorite State Fair 4-H project?” and was answered by seven members.
The treasurer’s report was given by Evan.
Bailey Feistner gave a report on her participation at Achievement Days and Emily Ohlrogge reported on her participation at the State Fair.
Under new business, the club talked about getting record books done. They also discussed ideas for celebrating National 4-H Week.
Following the meeting, Kaitlyn Swenson presented an illustrated talk on her rock painting project that she exhibited. Brooklyn Swenson gave an illustrated talk on her photography exhibit that was chosen as judge’s choice at the State Fair and will be in the State 4-H calendar. Evan presented an illustrated talk on his lamp electrical projects that he exhibited. Xavier Baysinger gave an illustrated talk on his tic-tac-toe wood project.

The meeting was called to order by Junior President Acaiya Schultz. The flag pledge was led by Alexa Goertz and the 4-H pledge was led by Elisha Schultz. Roll call was led by Morgan Schmiedt, with the question, “What was your favorite 4-H project this year?” and was answered by eight members.
The secretary’s report was read by Collin Schmiedt and approved as corrected. The treasurer’s report was given by Acaiya.
Reports on participation at Achievement Days and State Fair were given by Isaiah Schultz, Lane Burkel and Alexa Goertz.
Under new business, the group talked about getting record books done, and made plans for celebrating National 4-H Week. Setting barrels as a fundraiser in October was also discussed.
Collin presented a talk on hunting deer and Morgan gave a talk on showing beef. Elisha and Acaiya delivered an illustrated talk on casting out nines, and Alexa presented a demonstration on making no bake cookies.
The next meeting is scheduled for Sept. 30.
