On Tuesday, Feb. 6, the Iroquois Chiefs came to Woonsocket for a basketball double header.
The SCW ladies played first and easily came up with their ninth win on the year.
For the girls’ JV part of the night, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket easily handed the Iroquois Lady Chiefs a loss with a final score of 42-20.
On Friday, Feb. 9, the Lady Blackhawks traveled to Highmore for a doubleheader with the Highmore/Harrold Pirates, where varsity earned another win.
The girls’ JV team also played at Highmore Friday night. They won a good game with a final score of 29-20.
The Lady Blackhawks are now at a record of 10-8. Their next action was Monday, Feb. 12, against James Valley Christian in Woonsocket, and their last regular season game is Thursday, Feb. 15, in a doubleheader against Mitchell Christian in the Sanborn Central gym.
