The regular meeting of the Woonsocket City Council was called to order by President Richard Reider, at 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 4, 2018, with the following members present: Derek Foos, Jim Steichen, Darin Kilcoin, Joel Rassel, and Brandon Goergen.
Motion by Goergen, seconded by Rassel, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Motion by Steichen, seconded by Rassel, to approve the February 5, 2018, minutes. Motion carried.

Council discussed the Election. The Election has been cancelled due to the following people having been nominated and running unopposed to fill the vacant seats: Mayor – Two-Year Term – Richard Reider, Councilmember Ward 1 – Two-Year Term – Arin Boschee, Councilmember Ward 1 – One-Year Term – Darin Kilcoin, Councilmember Ward 2 – Two Year Term – Brandon Goergen, Councilmember Ward 3 – Two Year Term – Garret Foos.
Council discussed the pool and playground equipment at the ball field.
Motion by Rassel, seconded by Steichen, to approve the Proclamation to name May 4, 2018, as Paula Lynch and Judy Hinker Day for all their years in education. Motion carried.
Council discussed the sale of the McKenzie building.
Council discussed the dumpgrounds. We will be looking for someone to run the dump during the summer.
NEW BUSINESS
Weber informed the council of the District Meeting on March 28th.
Council set March 19th to meet as a board of equalization at 7 p.m. at the Finance Office.
Council discussed the Water Quality Report. Weber will print it as required by law.
With no further business to be discussed, motion by Steichen, seconded by Rassel, to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
