On Tuesday, Jan. 7, the SCW Blackhawks traveled to Emery to take on the Bridgewater-Emery Huskies in their first doubleheader for the week. Despite three Blackhawks scoring in double digits, the Huskies held on to outscore Sanborn Central/Woonsocket, 46-54.

Stats leaders for the game were Noah Dickson with 12 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Tater Moody contributed 11 points, six rebounds and three assists, while Malachi Bruce tossed in 11 points, as well.

The junior varsity boys also fell to the Huskies with a final score of 14-48. Leading the way for the JV was Andrew Lindgren with six points.
