Artesian First Lutheran Church members boxed up 33 quilts, three personal care kits, five fabric kits, 62 school kits, five baby care kits and two pounds of soap following the church service on Oct. 11.
Judy Wormstadt and Angie Scott delivered all the projects to Brookings on Monday, Oct. 12. From there they will be transported by semi-truck to the Lutheran World Relief Warehouse in Minneapolis, Minn.
During the service at Artesian First Lutheran Church, the congregation all gathered around the quilts and kits for Lutheran World Relief and put their hands on them while Pastor Terry Knudson had a special blessing on the projects and the people worldwide who will receive them.
