A well-rounded attack by junior Myah Selland led the Lady Blackhawks to a 56-49 win over Hitchcock-Tulare Saturday night in Forestburg.
Selland chalked up another double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. To those stats, she added an impressive seven assists, eight blocks and five steals.
Abby Doering contributed to the effort with 11 points and five rebounds, while Tayla Weber added eight points and four assists and Tesa Jensen wrote her name down with six points.
The Blackhawks shot 43 percent from the floor on 20-of-46 and shot 58 percent from the free-throw line on 15-of-26.
The Patriots were led by Ally Binger with 15 points. They shot 20-of-45 from the floor and made three out of nine hoops from the stripe.
H-T fell to 4-3 with the loss, while SCW improved to 3-1, as they head to Emery to take on Bridgewater/Emery Tuesday, Jan. 5.
