Bernice Mary “Pat” Dunn, 104, died Dec. 28, 2015, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 23 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Mitchell with burial at St. Wilfrid Cemetery in Woonsocket.
Bernice Mary Dunn, daughter of GT and Mary (Korntson) Christian, was born April 22, 1911, in New Pointe, Mo. She was united in marriage with Thomas M. Dunn in 1931 in Slayton, Minn. Bernice lived in Mitchell since 1950. She worked at the Corn Palace for 20 years and Herbergers for 5 years before retiring at 75 years of age.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Robert (Marsha) Dunn of Wausau, Wis.; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Mary Jean Bollinger; a son, James Michael; and a granddaughter, Karen Triem.
