The regular meeting of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 29 met on Nov. 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the community center. President Dawn Rassel led the opening ceremonies. Judy Stenzel, chaplain, led the opening prayer and Marian Andersen, music chairman, led the National Anthem.
The minutes of the October meeting were read and approved. The treasurer’s report was also approved. No bills were presented.
A thank you letter was received from Wendy Figland, Executive Director of the Mitchell Safehouse for the $50 donation they recieved from Unit 29. Plans were made for the Veteran’s Day supper to be held on Sunday, Nov. 11 in the community center. Bars will be furnished by Jo White, Barb Maurice, Barb Senska, Bobbi White, Marian Andersen and Dawn Rassel.
Following the closing ceremonies, President Dawn Rassel adjourned the meeting.
The next meeting will be Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the community center.
Bingo helper for November is Mary Kay Regynski. Bars to be furnished by Barb Maurice.
Cookies for the PVCC bingo will be furnished by Cathy Hegg and Barb Maurice.
