The regular meeting of the Woonsocket City Council was called to order by Mayor Lindy Peterson at 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2012 in the Woonsocket City Council Room with the following members present: Richard Reider, Richard Regynski, John Ames, Don Schmidt, Brandon Goergen and Jim Steichen.
Motion by Ames, seconded by Schmidt, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Motion by Goergen, seconded by Ames, to approve the September 3, 2012 minutes. Motion carried.
Motion by Regynski, seconded by Reider, to approve the Financial Statement. Motion carried.
Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Ames to approve the following bills:

A report was read on the pool which was submitted by Sarah Jensen.
Motion by Goergen, seconded Steichen, to approve a Temporary Liquor License for October 22, 2012 for the Community Center for The Dakota Road House and Rowdy Rooster. Motion carried.
Casey Wheeler with AFLAC was present. Council has approved to allow employees to purchase AFLAC.
Shawn and Kathy Peterson and Al Westendorf were present to discuss their Diesel Air Filter Cleaner business with the council.
OLD BUSINESS
Council discussed the dock.
Council discussed the Crack and Seal Project. Motion by Ames, seconded by Regynski, to approve the first reading of Supplemental Budget Ordinance #12-01. Motion carried.
Council discussed the Community Access Grant.
Council discussed the Employee Evaluations.
Council discussed the Audit. Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Goergen, to approve ELO as the Audit Firm. Motion carried.
Clean up – Tabled.
Fireworks Ordinance – Tabled.
Motion by Reider, seconded by Schmidt, to approve the 2013 Budget Appropriations Ordinance. Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
Council discussed an Industrial Park.
Council discussed Bill Fagan, who walked from Woonsocket, RI to Woonsocket, SD.
Council discussed the Municipal meeting, which Lindy Peterson attended.
Council discussed a new mower.
Council discussed the cemetery road.
With no further business to be discussed. Motion by Reider, seconded by Schmidt, to adjourn the meeting. Meeting was adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
