The 32nd Annual Ball Reunion, hosted by Larry and Beverly Ball, was held in Woodbury, Minn., July 19–21. Activities included a Twins baseball game, golfing, shopping and swimming. Larry and Bev provided videos of past reunions for Friday night’s potluck supper and Beverly created a slideshow of the nine siblings and families for Saturday’s banquet entertainment.
Those attending this year’s reunion were the following:  Mike, Barb and Ashley Howard, and Rachel and Jamon Howard all of Fargo, N.D.; David, Oksana and Dmitry Howard, Dallas, Texas; Carol and Denny Renken and Dan, Corinne, Chase and Dylan Renken all of Tyler, Minn.;  Teri and Bert Snider, Lake Elmo, Minn.; Shelby and Brody Snider, Gilbert, Ariz.; Shauna, Ross, Carson and Hannah Turner, Woodbury, Minn.; Jerry and Pam Ball, Cameron and Alexa, LaCrosse, Wis.; Jay and Deb Ball, Woonsocket; Jesse, Lindsey and Cooper Ball, Sioux Falls; Danny, Elena, Austin and Alissa Ball, Woonsocket; Susan Fuerst, Huron; Tom and Lynette Ball, Aberdeen; Jennifer, Brent, Zachary and Grace Mohlenhoff, Arden Hills, Minn.; Stefanie, Elijah and Elena Hubbard, West Allis, Wis.; Jim and Mary Ball, Mesa, Ariz.; Traci, Don, Ryan and Alyssa Anderson, Watertown; Chris, Sarah, Andrew, Lauryn, and Camryn Ball, Woodbury, Minn.; Brian, Dylan, Lilly and Abby Ball and friend Chandra Hamann, Cottage Grove, Minn.;  Larry, Beverly and Tyler Ball, Murdo; and Spenser Ball, and Kevin and Paisley Ball all of Mitchell.

Bud and Casey Miller of Woonsocket are the parents of a baby boy, Ridley Kim Miller, born June 5, 2013. He weighed 8 lb. 11 oz. and was 20-1/2 inches long. He joins a big sister, Avery, and a big brother, Carson.
Grandparents are Kim Wheeler and Cheryl Kahle of Piedmont, Shelley Wheeler and Dale Bryan of Lake Byron, Dean Miller of Woonsocket, and Kristi and Jim Waldon of Oakes, N.D. Great-grandparents are Sally Krueger of Woonsocket and Darrell Krueger of Wolsey.

On Wednesday, July 17, eight ladies from Prairie Lutheran Parish set out on a road trip to the “Cathedral on the Prairie” at Hoven and met up with Joyce Olson of Artesian First Lutheran there.
The priest at the Cathedral, Father Kevin Doyle, gave the group a very interesting and informative tour. They even got to sing a hymn accompanied by the organist of 60 years.
After the tour the group traveled to West Whitlock on the Missouri River to the cabin of Joyce and Doug Olson. Joyce prepared a delicious walleye dinner for everyone. Bible cake was a dessert treat made by Judy Wormstadt. The Lord’s Prayer was prayed and table blessing sung.
A skit titled “Day 39 and Counting” with the characters of God (Deanna Dean) and Martha, Noah’s wife (Judy Wormstadt) was performed.
Those attending were: Lorelee Nelson, Shirley Stroud, Donna Stroud and Connie Hattervig of Trinity Lutheran at Carthage, Janet Peskey of Immanuel Lutheran, rural Iroquois, and Joyce Olson, Deanna Dean, Arlene Kelly and Judy Wormstadt of Artesian First Lutheran.
