AROUND 30 horseless carriages from around the country arrived at Hansen Wheel & Wagon last Wednesday.
Hansen Wheel & Wagon Shop was honored to provide a tour on Sept. 4 to the Horseless Carriage Club of America, who arrived in approximately 30 antique horseless carriages.
The club included vehicles from throughout the U.S., from as far as California to Pennsylvania. Vehicles must be built in 1915 or earlier to qualify for inclusion in the club.
Hansen Wheel & Wagon was able to experience some common repairs done to these early vehicles, as one was pulled into the shop before heading back out on the road. An average top speed of approximately 30 miles per hour makes it necessary to schedule trips well in advance.
