When the Woonsocket kindergarten students were learning about the foods we eat and where they come from, Malisa Niles, with help from her daughters, Banion and Bethany, came to talk to them about each of the ingredients in a pizza, while making a pizza for their afternoon snack.
Malisa’s daughter, Emma, is in the class.
Woonsocket kindergarten students also got to spend a recent P.E. class stacking cups with Mr. Rodriguez.

First, second and third place winners in the Town ‘N Kountry Kids 4-H Club Coloring Contest for 4-H Week were announced recently at the end of the Veteran’s Day program.
Winners are: Kindergarten – Elisha Schultz, Addyson Baruth, Samantha Grosz; first grade – Ben Kleinsasser, Tailynn Larson, Yuli Garcia; second grade – Daulton Guinn, Nick Kleinsasser, Isaiah Schultz; third grade – Michaela Hensler, Hannah Terkildsen, Acaiya Schultz; fourth grade – Madison Stephens, Dilyn Brooks, Clay Olinger; fifth grade – Morgan Schmiedt, Teryn Bartunek, Xavier Baysinger; sixth grade – Mariah Jost, Taylor Lindsey and Megan Linke.
Receiving honorable mention were: fifth grade – Kaitlin Brueske, Madison Schmiedt, and Caycee Guinn; sixth grade – Kaylee White and Morgan Wolff.
Winners each received a 4-H Yo-Yo, Slinky or bouncy ball.
