By Kadin Schlenker and Quinn Waln-Jenssen
The sixth grade students hosted a fantastic assembly on Friday, Feb. 1. The Character Counts! pillar that was introduced was Fairness.
The “Good Morning Elementary” crew entertained the K-5 students and welcomed a new student, Quinn Waln-Jenssen to the school.
The guest speaker, Mr. Bruce, was very informative and stressed the importance of being fair in his job and his coaching duties. His second grade class did an activity describing fairness in their classroom.
Mrs. Lynch, the Elementary Principal, called down the winners of last month’s Character CountS! drawing and they drew two new winners for this month. They were Mary Frances Bruce and Noah Terkildsen.
The sixth graders performed skits, read books and poems and the famous CC Rappers performed.
