The Woonsocket senior government class made a trip to Pierre, Feb. 13 to observe the South Dakota Legislature.  Chaperones included Jim and Cathy Hegg, Janet Hinker and Mrs. Klaas.
The group first sat in on the democratic caucus where they met Representative Scott Parsley. Representatives Parsley and Leslie Heinemann introduced the group during the house session and Senator Russ Olson introduced them to the Senate. Lunch that day was sponsored by the Woonsocket American Legion.
