The 39th Annual Sanborn County American Cancer Society Benefit Basketball Tournament will be held Saturday, Nov. 14 at Sanborn Central.
Participating teams include the fifth and sixth grade girls and boys from Mount Vernon/Plankinton, Ethan, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket, and Wessington Springs schools.
The girls’ games will begin at 9 a.m. with SC/W vs. Ethan, followed by MV/P vs. WS. The third and fourth place game will be next and then the championship game.
The boys’ games will begin at approximately 1 p.m. with SCW vs. Ethan, followed by MV/P vs. WS.  The third and fourth place game will be next and then the championship game.
This is a benefit tournament. Admission will be $5 for adults and $2 for students.
