A Community Giving Tree has been set up in the solarium at Prairie View Care Center, adorned with cards that have the names of residents and their wish lists. It is the goal of the PVCC staff that every resident receives a gift, so the help of the community is appreciated.
Suggested gifts are lotions, body sprays, perfume or cologne, socks, sweat pants (large/X-large), sweatshirts, fleece clothing, sweaters, large piece puzzles, word search or crossword books, small CD players, electric razors, gift certificates for hair care, etc. Monetary gifts are also very much appreciated, as then the staff purchases the gifts that are needed.
If you would like to help with this worthwhile project, contact Kristi, Janet or Tami at PVCC or stop by and select a card from the tree. Gifts will be opened at the resident party on Dec. 23.
