The Artesian First Lutheran Quilters met on Wednesday, June 29 at 7 p.m. at the church.
Those attending were: Jerolyn and Deanna Dean, Jean and Judy Wormstadt and Destiny and Ayla Moe. The group started a special quilt for the Lutheran Outdoors Quilt Auction at Sioux Falls in October. New cutting and sewing techniques were introduced to the gals.
Three mission quilts were tied, and two receiving blankets were sewed. Deanna taught Destiny and Ayla how to make headbands out of the leftover fabric from the quilt.
Lunch was provided by Jerolyn. Devotions and the Lord’s Prayer were shared by the group.
