The City of Artesian Council met on June 8, 2016 in regular session at the Artesian Community Center.  Council Member Richard called the meeting to order with Council Member Danek, Finance Officer Steele and Tom Fridley present. Bob Schmidt was present as a visitor.
The minutes of the May 4, 2016  meeting were read. Motion to approve by Danek, seconded by Richard, motion carried. Motion by Danek, seconded by Richard, to approve the Financial Statement and approval of vouchers as presented by Steele. Motion carried. Following vouchers were presented for the month:

Lagoon: Drainage ok.
Streets:
Sewer/Garbage: Reviewed accounts receivable and discussion was held on past due accounts.
Pool/Campground: Campsites will be $20/night. Bath houses have been cleaned out and problem areas have been fixed. Weeds and tall grass around the camping area have been mowed down. Artesian swimming pool supplies are for sale. Contact Artesian Council Members or Finance Officer for more details.
New Business: A telephone meeting will be held between Council Members to discuss bids for furnace replacement in city shop.
