The regular meeting of the Woonsocket City Council was called to order by Mayor Lindy Peterson at 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2016 with the following members present: Richard Reider, Jim Steichen, John Ames, Brandon Goergen, Richard Regynski and Don Schmidt. Finance Officer Tara Weber was absent, Brandon Goergen was the recorder.
Motion Steichen, seconded by Ames, to approve the Agenda. Motion carried.
Motion by Reider, seconded by Schmidt, to approve the January 4, 2016 minutes. Motion carried.
Motion by Goergen, seconded by Schmidt, to approve the financial report. Motion carried.

NEW BUSINESS
Motion by Regynski, seconded by Schmidt, to approve the seconded reading of the Finance Officer Ordinance. Motion carried.
Council discussed vehicles in town, not licensed.
Motion by Goergen, seconded by Regynski, to approve the renewal of the Law Enforcement Agreement with Sanborn County for the year 2016 in the amount of $20,000.00. Motion carried.
Council discussed the following items: Pickup, Signage, Iron Pile, Community Center, City ID and Christmas Decorations.
With no further business to be discussed, motion by Ames, seconded by Schmidt, to adjourn the meeting. Meeting was adjourned at 8:06 p.m.
