Kyli J. Cross, 32, of Mitchell, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2016, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Visitation was Thursday Aug. 4, from 5-6 p.m., followed by the funeral at 6 p.m., at Bittner Funeral Chapel in Mitchell. Burial was in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Storla.
Kyli Jean was born in Mitchell on March 28, 1984. She grew up and attended schools in Artesian/Letcher. For the last five years, she had been living at Avera Brady Health and Rehab in Mitchell.
Kyli was an avid bingo player, and loved music and animals. She started the first support group for multiple sclerosis in Mitchell.
Survivors include Kyli’s daughter, Estella Bullis of Mitchell; her parents, Elaine and Kim Reid of Mitchell; brother, Kody (Casey) Cross of Ft. Riley, Kan.; step-brother, Mitchel (Kaleigh) Reid of Sioux Falls; step-sisters, Makenzi Reid of Mitchell, Kimberlee (Jason) Gardner of Salt Lake City, Utah, Lindsay (Matt) Williams, of Highland Ranch, Colo., and Andrea (Clint Turner) Reid of Arvada, Colo.; half-sister, Kira Cross of Wyoming; maternal grandmother, Pearl Berg of Mitchell; and special friend, Chad Chalmers, of Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Lowell Berg.
