The 16-4 Lady Blackhawks sailed past Mitchell Christian last Thursday night in Woonsocket, 41-25, led by a Myah Selland double-double.
Selland scored 23 points, including four three-pointers, and grabbed 12 rebounds, while Abby Doering added on 10 points to the effort.
SCW shot 13-of-49 from the field for 27 percent.
MCS was led by Emily Reynen’s 15 points and Abbie Reynen’s 10. The Golden Eagles shot 21 percent from the floor.
Mitchell Christian fell to 9-10 on the season, while SCW improved to 16-4, moving on to District 6B play, which was to begin Tuesday, Feb. 23 following a first round bye.
