The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Lady Blackhawks took down Bridgewater-Emery, 59-31, in an easy last Tuesday contest in Emery.
Behind Myah Selland’s 20 points and eight rebounds, the girls took early control of the game, building a 17-point lead and holding B-E to just three in the first quarter.
Kayla Olson added on 10 points, six assists and five steals, while Tayla Weber and Bailey Moody each put in eight points. Selland also had three each assists and steals.
The Blackhawks beat the Huskies in rebounding, 29-17, and had just 13 turnovers, while forcing 25. SCW shot 24-of-56 from the field and nine-of-13 from the line.
B-E went 14-of-49 in the field goal department and missed both of its free throw attempts.
The SCW junior varsity also won their game, 38-29.
