BYRON JESSEN and Logan Effling’s business plan will advance to the state competition in Pierre next Wednesday

Students from Sanborn Central School took part in a business plan competition for the state, recently. The students had to create a business spreadsheet about a possible product or service.
Project partners Logan Effling and Byron Jessen placed among the top six projects in the competition. Kayla Olson also scored within the top 10. The top six projects advance to Pierre on Feb. 10 to demonstrate their plans and show why they should be picked. They will also enjoy free time in the capitol and  get to dine with the Governor.
First place winner gets $1,000 and an iPad, second place gets $500 and an iPad, and third place gets an iPad. After that, all other projects get $300.
