Woonsocket City Council proceedings

March 7, 2016

The regular meeting of the Woonsocket City Council was called to order by Mayor Lindy Peterson at 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2016 with the following members present: Richard Reider, John Ames, Brandon Goergen, Richard Regynski and Don Schmidt.
Motion by Regynski, seconded by Schmidt, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Motion by Ames, seconded by Goergen, to approve the minutes of the February 1st meeting.  Motion carried.
Financial Statement – Tabled.
Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Ames, to approve the following bills:

NEW BUSINESS
Council discussed the antenna, which was on the old water tower.
Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Reider, to a proclamation that names May 6th Jim VanDenHemel Day. Motion carried.
Motion by Reider, seconded by Regynski, to approve the first reading to increase the minimum charge to $18.00 for the first 2,500 gallons of water. Motion carried.
Council discussed the upcoming equalization board hearing.
Council discussed the upcoming District 2 meeting in Howard.
Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Goergen, to approve the Hazard Mitigation Plan. Motion carried.

Iron Pile
Community Center Addition
City ID
Christmas Lights
Mixer for Water Tower
Watermain Loop
With no further business to be discussed. Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Goergen, to adjourn the meeting. Meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
