The Sanborn Central/Blackhawk volleyball team ended their season with a hard-fought loss after four sets to the Ethan Rustlers, Tuesday night at the Region 4B Quarterfinals in Madison.
Set scores were 25-23, 20-25, 14-25 and 16-25.
Abby Doering hit nine kills, one ace, seven digs and three blocks, while Tesa Jensen had 12 kills, four digs and one block. Erica Howard recorded 10 kills and four defensive digs, while Madi Moody made 21 digs and four assists. Tristan Ziebart got in the books with 24 assists and seven digs for the Blackhawks.
Jada Plastow led the Rustlers with 18 kills and three aces, while Karly Gustafson hit 13 kills, three digs and five blocks.
